  1. You got in with 3.64 points?? Why did you turn down the spot?
  2. Hi, did you get in while the point system was being used??
  3. If anyone else has any info on working in Switzerland as a nurse, that would be great. I am currently working on my pre-reqs for both an Associates program and a Bachelor's program. I do know that Switzerland only recognizes a Bachelor's of anything and above. I am currently trying to learn German. Thanks!
  4. Is there anyone applying for the Fall of 2011. I talked to ***** ******, and she says the cutoff for points vary each semester. Sometimes its 5.5, sometimes its 5.9 and sometimes its 6.0. I really hope I get in!
  5. Thanks for the extra posts guys. :)
  6. I would also love to see this in all states. I live here in the Midwest and Baker University in Topeka Kansas looks at only your pre-req GPA Also Linfield in Portland Oregon looks at your nursing pre-req GPA. Any one else??
  7. Have a question :) Where did you get accepted with a 3.1 CUM GPA? And did they just look at your GPA or other stuff such as rec letters, experience, etc? Thanks
  8. Even though it would be cheaper to go to school there than it would here in the US (I checked) I don't know the language at all. So, I figured I would get into nursing school here and that'll take two years (BSN) and while I am doing that, try to study high German or try and find some Swiss German books, cds, etc, and learn that while I am here in the US and then move. Why I want to move there? I don't have family there, never have been there, never even thought about Switzerland or any other country or even considered moving out of the US to somewhere else. I have a female friend that lives there, who I met online, on a message board/fan fiction site, and we have been talking for at least a year and a half now. She used to live here in the states and then she met a Swiss guy here in the states, and he was originally from Switzerland, they got married and moved to Switzerland and are now divorced, but she stayed. She has been telling me about the country, the people, how beautiful it is, the quality of water, air, and the life there and the men lol. I have been researching for awhile about Switzerland and seeing beautiful pictures of the country and thought, I think I would like to move there. I plan on visiting next summer in June for a month to see if I really like it. I hope to start nursing school here in fall. Sorry, I tried to put this in paragraphs but for some reason, it wasn't coming out that way.
  9. Its all in French and German. I am not quite fluent in German yet but thanks for your help!!
  10. Hi, I meant to quote your reply lol. Can I contact you about Switzerland, I have some questions?
  11. Can I contact you about Switzerland? I have some questions...
  12. I have just a couple more semesters left of pre-reqs before I can apply to nursing school next fall. I wanted to get a BSN degree here in the states and then move to Switzerland after I graduate. Though I am thinking, instead of waiting, maybe I can just do my bachelor's there. Either way, I am going to get my Masters of Nursing and will get it over there as I dont plan on coming back to the states. So, does anyone know of any nursing programs in Switzerland, Bachelor's or Masters? Thanks!!
