  1. Thank you for your reply! For the most part I am on the road everyday. Since March 13th, I have put over 7,000 miles on my vehicle. And at this point we do full head to toe assessments and like you mentioned wound care, etc. I am really upset about the company I am working for at this moment, because they want us all to have 6-7 patients a day. I really don't think that is possible. Would love to hear from more of you hospice nurses out there! Thanks again, Kim
  2. Good Evening, I am currently an LPN working in a Home Health Hospice position. My question is this....on average how many patients do you see in a given day, with the hours of say 8:30-5:00? I am currently working for a company and originally we were told 4-5 patients per day, and now they want 6-7 pts. per day, not including going back to the office to do chart updates, etc. And sometimes there is a good 15+ miles between patients. Just looking for input!
  3. Hi there, I would love to get info from anyone that has been through the ISU/TCN program. Looking for pros and cons to the program. Success stories and that type of info. Please advise. THank you. Kim Smith
  4. Can anyone please help me out here. I have been an LPN for a year now and I want to continue my education for my BSN. I had contacted "The College Network" and Indiana State University. To make a long story short, I want to make sure I am doing the right thing. Are distance learning programs legit? Indiana State University esp? Can I get any type of grants, financial aid, etc. And are there distance learning programs that are better and more cost effective? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks again, Kim
