  1. Hi everyone, I am seriously considering joining the Air Force but I have a crazy question. How strict are they on the weight requirement? I am about 7 lbs away from meeting it but wasn't sure how strict they were. Thanks!
  2. Thanks for all the good information!!
  3. Hi everyone, I am a RN with a BSN and have 3.5 years experience. I am looking at military and am trying to weigh out options. I have looked at Navy and Air Force as well as Reserves in both branches. My mentor from college suggested that I just do 4 years active duty rather than 8 years in reserves so I am weighing out options. Can anyone offer insight into either branch? What is life like in the military? Thanks in advance for the advice.
  4. Hello I will be graduating :mortarboard: from a Louisiana university with my BSN in December and intend on moving to Houston after graduation. I have submitted my applications for the internships at a few of the hospitals in Houston. My concern is that I will have a hard time finding a job. I am leaving a good job that is guaranteed but am wanting to spread my wings and try something new. I have worked in a hospital for almost 2 years as an extern and scored well on the HESI. I hope that is enough for a good job. Anyone have any suggestions or advice for someone considering this move? Thanks for your input.
