  1. Hemodialysis Interview

    I recently apply for a Hemodialysis position through the hospital where I work. I am casual so I work in every unit and I am excited about the opportunity to work in a dialysis clinic. Tomorrow is my interview and I am excited but nervous as I am not sure what they will ask. Any feedback? I have been nursing only for a year, so I have had only one interview in the health care field. Any advice? Is it acceptable to go to an interview in scrubs? (they want me to have the interview after 2 hours of shadow-shift).

  3. ABout to start LPN program in Vancouver

    Hello all! I just found this site this week and I am happy to know I can communicate with other nurses and learn from you all. I start school in a private college for an LPN program which is 52 weeks long. I have heard it is pretty intense. Does anyone has tips, feedback, thoughts that can help me be completely prepared for school? I have a Marketing degree and I am changing careers now. I have interest in Health Care and have a personality that loves to help others so basically I am hoping Nursing would be challenging, but VERY rewarding :) THank you all for reading this. Sandra
