I'm an RN that has a year of Med Surg/Ortho experience. I've been currently working in a LTAC for a month now and I don't think it's for me. I have an interview for an ER position on Monday and I'm not sure what to expect. I've always wanted to be an ER nurse because I'd learn so much. In what ways is ER nursing different from floor nursing. And how stressful would it be for a 23 year old newly licensed RN?? Thanks!
:DI posted a thread yesterday about how I was so scared that I had failed for the third time, but I found out this morning that I'm a RN!!!!! Thanks to all of you guys that gave me support and encouragement. I'm so happy right now!!! I just want to tell others who are going through the same thing, to not give up. Even if it takes 10 tries, you'll pass!
I took the NCLEX RN today for the third time and went to 265 questions....for the third time. I'm already an LPN and working in a hospital doing everything an RN does....so why can't I pass this test??? I'll probably get my official results tomorrow, but I can't help but feel like I failed again just because of the other 2 attempts. This is so horrible.
