  1. Hi! I'm a BScN RN with almost 6 yrs of clinical experience. Besides that, computers are my hobby, being around them for almost 15 yrs. Currently I do have a computer business where I use my self-taught skills to troubleshoot (hardware/software) and build new systems. I've been trying to get more information on how to enter this field of Nursing but everybody tends to be extremely secretive. I emailed our Nursing Informatics Association...my hospital's IT department...no one wants to help me out. It feels like the dark side of Nursing lol. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 2. Yeah, don't worry....the 1st year is going to be tough. It takes a while to learn the specifics of the workplace and getting more comfortable with the assignments. I remember my beginnings...after working 12-13 hours straight with no breaks, at the end I felt so happy...it was the end of my shift and it felt like I won a battle.
