hi, as far as i know you shoul only follow a specific State Board requirement for english test. This means that if you plan to apply for New Jersy BON and they only require TOEFL for the english test they will not honor any result coming from IELTS so just to be safe take the TOEFL test.

For those foreign RN in the U.S. with H-4,B1,B2 visas who expect to pass NCLEX until September '06 with employers waiting to sponsor are they gonna be affected by the coming retrogression? Is it still retrogression safe to file for a greencard until October?

no, i did not receive a letter from Maryland BON that i meet the requirements for licensure. do i have to wait for that letter first? thanks.

Yes, i already paid the $200 nclex registration and NO i have not recieved any letter of approval or any communications at all from Maryland BON. and it's been 3 weeks now so i'm kind'a worried. I have a copy of my CES reprt and my english test result which the Board also has. i also paid the $75 processing fee for Maryland BON. Do you think something went wrong with my requirements???Please help.... this really worries me.

How long will it take for me to wait until Maryland BON pass their approval to NCLEX so they can issue me my ATT? I've been waiting for almost 3 weeks now and i got nothing from them. Anybody, please?????

To my fellow RNs which do you think is easier IELTS or TOEFL iBT. I am in the U.S. and i am planning to take the TSE but it is no longer available here. TOEFL iBT is the one replacing TSE. I need it for my VISA SCREEN. thanks guys....

TSE is no longer offered in the US. Per ETS, the extension is only for those outside the US and Canada: http://www.ets.org/portal/site/ets/menuitem.fab2360b1645a1de9b3a0779f1751509/?vgnextoid=b5d7d898c84f4010VgnVCM10000022f95190RCR D but there is the TOEFL iBT replacing TSE if somebody needs it for Visa Screen. it took me like 15-20mins. for the ILA. you can say you'll have an edge with ILA coz it's a person to person test unlike speaking to just a computer. The test includes synonyms, anthonyms and analyzation,some given topics to discuss and a little about yourself. yes, sure but until this time i still can't contact somebody from MBON.hope i answer your question.thanks

hi, i took the person to person exam in Baltimore,Maryland. I chose ILA OPI instead of TOEFL or IELTS because first the result is as fast as 7-10 days and as soon as my CES report was released to Maryland BON i wanted to have the fastest result for English Test which only ILA OPI offers, but sad to say it is only accepted by MD BON. Right now correct me if I'm wrong there is no more available TSE exam in the U.S.

Just like some other people, i am in need of your advice.This is my situation: I am applying to MBON licensure, my CES was mailed to them last week of July. My ILA OPI englist test result was also mailed to them second week of August. Is there a way for me to follow up my status with MBON?I called Nclex already and they haven't recieved any advice from MBON .Hope somebody can advice me about this matter. thanks.
