    I am wondering,too. I was just informed that Excelsior College graduates will no longer be eligible to obtain initial licensure in Maryland if not enrolled in Excelsior before July 25th 2006. Now I have books I can not use. The College Network says they do not give refunds.

    No you had to be registered with Excelsior before July 25th 2006. I had not, so I would not be allow to take the Maryland state boards. If it is meant to be it will all work out.

    I received the same letter. It is also on the Maryland Board of Nursing web page. It really put a wrench in my plans to get my ADN as I just started with the College Network in April and was getting ready to take my first Excelsior exam. I understand that MBN is not excepting Excelsior's clinical credit of the program. I'm looking into what my options are.
