Ces
Can someone please tell me what CES is? I am moving to NJ to practice nursing in 8 months and was going to apply through MN (I was told it was quickest). Now I am told not to waste my money as NJ now requires CES and apply with them directly. Does anyone know how long the whole process takes? Can someone please help me??? Also, where do I find the application packet as I am a foreigh nurse from Canada. Joanna

Relocating to NJ
Thank you so much for your reply. I will be moving somewhere in Bergen county, have not picked out an appartment yet. I have spoken with an agency but a Canadian one specializing in sending Canadian RN's to the USA. I will take a look at the agency you suggested. Joanna.

Relocating to NJ
Hi, I really need some help here and I hope someone can give me answers please!!! I am Canadian, having received my degree in the province of Quebec. I am getting married in June to an American in June 2007 and will be relocating to New Jersey soon after. I am planning to gain entry with a TN visa. So here are my questions: does anyone know of a "good" hospital to work at in Northern NJ? I have heard that Englewood and Hackensack are two of the best in the area. Anyone has any advice? I have 2 years experience on an ENT, vascular and thoracic surgical unit... Also, I have been told that the easiest and quickest way in to apply is through Minnesota for my TN visa I will then have to register for the NXCLEX and get CGFNS approval...does this sound about right? What happens then? Does NJ actually recognize Minnesota's liscence? Do I have to do anything else once in NJ in order to work?I am sooooooo confused and time is running out for me. I have only 8 months to get my act together, get married, study for the NCLEX, pass the NCLEX, move to NJ, and find a job..... Any advice wold be more than appreciated!!!! :smackingf :smackingf Joanna.

any opinions about ubc?????
Hi, I go to UBC and find it's a great school. I am finishing my post RN program. Don't listen to what anyone says...in reality, you make what you choose out of your education!
