  1. Thank you very much!! Appreciate it!
  2. Hi all, I am from Nova Scotia, Canada and I will be graduating in Dec. of this year from an accelerated nursing degree program. I am interested in relocating to NC and I have noticed from this forum that there are a number of heath care facilities in NC that will hire new grads (and into ER positions, where I would like to start). I am curious if anyone is familiar with the 'trends' of non-U.S. nurses relocating to NC. If anyone knows of or has heard of people doing this, some information would be appreciated. I realize that I have to complete/pass the NCLEX exam, but are there any other issues I should be aware of? I would also like to know what the average hourly wage/salary would be for a new grad and what the average salary is for a seasoned nurse would be. I am looking for fair wages, but I am more interested in incentives such as signing bonus and bursaries/funding for future education, such as a masters. Sorry for the winded questions, but if I could get some information regarding these issues, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
