  1. Whoever said that Taco Bell was paying $8 an hr for high school students isnt true for my area. I worked for taco bell I was an assistant manager. I saw the money people were making. The most some high school student were making was alittle over minimum wage. I would take a nursing job over any fast food job anyday. Because its also alot more rewarding.
  2. gee and to think i was making alittle over $11 dollars in my last job as an assistant manager for a fast food restaurant.
  3. Im the baby of the family only female. First born (male) is a doctor. No alcohol abuse in the family
  4. I'd like to know suggestions/supplies that I will need for the trinitas program, and NURE 130 so I can budget. Any aides or study guides? thanks I really appreciate it Jodi
  5. I was thinking about going to that school but I applied to trinitas. Im not sure if I made the wrong choice or I should try for Muhlenberg. Please help
  6. There are many reasons why I want to be a nurse. 1. Ive always wanted to help people. I lost my job in april and knew I couldnt be a fast food manager for the rest of my life. Iv'e always wanted to make a difference in peoples lives. I think about the patients that dont have family. I had a job I wanted a career something to be proud of. Something at the end of the day I know I did something to help people. Ive always had my mom and my brother tell me go for nursing its a good field etc. My mom is a teacher and my brother is a doctor. They have said in the last few years about the nursing shortage. I was told by many Id make a great nurse. It will not be about the money but it will be about a secure job and benefits.
  7. I'm 27 and recently went back to school for Nursing. I have a bachelors and associates the school I went to was a 2year then if you wanted to continue your degree. I also went back to school because I couldnt find a good job in my major I took a 5 month grad level paralegal cerfiticate. You are not too old dont listen to anyone. There are all different ages people are going back to school. Just hold your head up high and say you can do it. Thats all you need
  8. Im a new student at UCC/Trinitas school. If anyone could give me any advice. I have my bachelors. Im taking anatomy and physiology, chemistry and child psy. My first test is tomorrow in chemistry. I appreciate any and all advice to do with the school. thanks jms79
  9. if you find a good way to study tell me. I just started Trinitas in September.
  10. :monkeydance: My name is Jodi. I applied to the school late in the summer and like everyone else thought that the letter was a letter to get into NURE 130. HAHA what a joke. I have my bachelors degree. I went to the college and didnt have to take the placement test. I received credits from six classes. I didnt have to go to any department heads to get anything waived. I just started classes last week at Trinitas School of Nursing. I'm alittle nervous. I am taking Chem 105, chem 105 lab, Anatomy and Physiology 105 and lab and Child Psy 205. I keep hearing that you need to be invited into the school of Nursing/Nure 130. I was wondering how long does it take to get an invitation and what kind of grades do you need? After this semester I only have microbiology and the second Anatomy and Physiology left. I am wondering if it is a good program? Is the courses hard? What should I expect? I've spoken to a few people and it seems no one has received an invitation to the school. Thank you for all your help. Sincerely, Jodi Warn: (0%)
