  2. A Registered Nurse? Please share your story.I need some comfort.lol
  3. Hi, I have not felt that way before ,because I do not have any kids yet!!! But, I have some words of comfort for you.Im pretty sure you have your kids best interests at heart.Im sure this is one of the reasons why you decided to go to school to become a Nurse;because you would like to improve your financial status so that your kids can have a better life and future(don't get me wrong, Im also sure that you have a passion for the feild).Right before you know it, you'll be walking down the stage to get your diploma!! Sometimes you have to make some sacrafices . Hang in there and good luck !!! ( how many times did I say " Im sure." lol)
  4. Im currently studying in The Us and as of today, I have a overall college gpa of B+( 3.47).Im hoping to raise it up to a 3.56 or 3.6 by the end of this current semester.Should I be optomistic about applying to Nursing programs in Canada?Which schools should I really consider?Including the minimum gpa to get into a program would be helpfull. The school's websites are not too helpful ....Im planning on moving to Montreal or Ontario. Thanks!
  5. ..Infuriating...so I want to ask you: why do you or did you become a Nurse instead of a Physician??
  6. Why do I think that Nursing is not for you? Why don't you try becoming a Pa Or a Physician. The art of Nursing has to do with caring for people and wanting to do it( Cleaning, giving medecine, holding a hand, giving comfort, etc) Don't you want to have that special connection with your patients(Bedside care)? I think this is what Nursing is.Maybe you should rethink your career goals.Just a suggestion.Good luck to you.
  7. Thanks!! All of you guys made me feel alot better..Honestly!! MUaHHH
  8. Super cute! LOl ...Ok..anyone else????
  9. This really apprehends me...I mean, I know im intelligent , but it still scares me when I hear about this..I know the students accepted to Nursing school these days are brilliant and this is why im afraid!!! WHy are brilliant students dropping out of Nursing school? Whats the most challenging part of the program????
  10. Please give me your opinion . :=)
  11. What are the usual requirements? ( Gpa, prereqs, etc...)
  12. I got rejected twice in one year!!! My average when I applied was a 3.55...I have decided to try a private school for the Fall 2007 but just found out that they require applicants to take the NET exam..I feel like getting into Nursing school is becoming more and more of a challenge for me!!! Sorry for venting!!! Any words of comfort ? Are you or were you once in my situation??
  13. Sorry if I or someone else asked this question already, but how did you do on the NET exam? What does it consist of?? How can I prepare for it??? WHat were your scores , if you don't mind me asking????
  14. how long doesit take? do schools actually have a "cardiac nurse" program or do you get trained in the hopsital inwhich you work? what gpa should a student interested in becoming a cardiac nurse have.thanks everyone!
