  1. Goodluck, the third time was a charm for me and believe in yourself. Don't panic and take a break when you feel you need one. All the best, you can do it.
  2. Hi, one week ago i was in the same position you are in. I would advise you to stay calm, and believe in yourself you can do it. I did the suzanne review plan and used the Kaplan question trainer. I did fail twice and it's not because you dont know, but it is how you review your content. I found suzannes plan the first study tip to be really helpful. This is because you cover every chapter of the content you studied in school without assuming that you remember when you really don't. I had reviewed the cd questions prior to my first and second attempt so sometimes i would do questions from other areas. I also did the kaplan question trainer which was really helpful in answering critical thinking questions. For any areas you thought you did not feel comfortable while answering the nclex, try to go through that area very well. In my case i had realized in my first and second attempt i did not feel comfortable answering precaution qs, triage and what task should be delegated to who and why. You will pass, just trust in yourself. Goodluck.
  3. Hi erica, just so that you know i have failed it twice. I did not think at any time i would fail it a second time but i did. Dont give up, i believe everything happens for a reason. For me this is the first time this ever happened to me. I passed my nursing school with no difficulty too. Just to let you know you are not alone. Try to get your results and see the areas you are failing most and then put your mind to studying again and i believe you will make it. :monkeydance:
  4. Hi,tookmy exam and i failed. I did a review course and used the kaplan 2007 edition to help me in my thinking skills when taking the nclex. I think it did help me but i was too nervous while taking the exam so i guess that contributed to it too. I have scheduled for another exam in sept. 10th and am trying to look forward. Dont give up. It will just take a little bit longer to get what you wanted but i believe you can do it. I am kind of confused too on what review is best while it comes to prioritization and infection questions. Any help will be highly appreciated by all of us who dont want to fail again.
  5. hey budhhanah, I failed my nclex too on the 25th of june and i did not take it very well. I had informed everyone ie my friends and when i got my results i felt like i was going to go into depression. This was the first time i failed an exam and i did not take it very well. My family does not live here in the US so it was even harder but talking to your mum always makes you feel better. Get courage, dont look back and start your review or study again. Dont waste time. Reschedule when to take it again and that gives you a focus and so you will not dwell on the next exam. I believe you can do it. I will be reseating for mine in september and i hope you will be reseating for yours soon so that you can be a great nurse. You can fulfill it.
