  1. Thanks!! I'll do that today.
  2. Hello everybody! I'm in need of some assistance. I am 25 years old and I've recently been thinking of going into the Nursing Field. I've stumbled onto this wonderful site which I've been reading for days on end!! Anyway, I've seen some members advise other posters to shadow a nurse for a day, few hours, ect if they want to get a better understanding of the job. I thought this was a great idea, but can anybody tell me how I can go about doing this? Is this a common request in hospitals or doctors offices? Should I know what area I would like to shadow in? Honestly, any area would be fine with me as long as I'm not bothering anybody. I was thinking of emailing/calling the HR dept. at the nearest hospital(Palisades General, North Bergen) and requesting to shadow for a few hours. Is this not the right way to do this? I don't know any nurses, so any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance
