  1. hi! Are your friends planning to work in new mexico also? Or they're just using it as a stepping stone to work in another state?
  2. If you'll take New York, your documents will have to pass through CGFNS for verifications then they'll forward it to NY BON.. then you'll wait again for 4-6 months before getting your ATT. I know someone who applied for NY NCLEX and still havn't received his ATT after a year already. I'm also confused which state to choose! I guess it's the most difficult decision to make. Well, good luck to both of us!
  3. Hello fellow Nurses! I just passed the Local Board in the Philippines and is now planning to take the NCLEX before working. I was wondering if anyone can give me advice as to which state in the US I should go to. I have relatives in NY, NJ, Texas, and CA. I don't want to take the CGFNS anymore. According to some of my friends, the ATT from these states take too long to arrive. Some adviced to just take the New Mexico or Vermont NCLEX wherein the ATT will arrive within 2-3 months. They said it is also the easiest exams to pass while the hardest are nclex of NY and CA... (i don't know if this is true.) Then I'll just apply for a reciprocity to NY or CA or anywhere I wanted to go to. I want to know if reciprocity applies to New York and New Mexico/Vermont. Hoping somebody could answer my questions... thanks in advance!
