RRT need some advices to be RN
Hi~everyone~ I am a new graduated "RRT" form Community College of Philadelphia (year of 2008) . I am taking few extra classes which are for Nursing. I always want to be a RN. However, during my 1st year of college, i didn't apply to other nursing schools and I got rejected from CCP. That's why I went into the RRT program. I know I am not belog to Respiratory. I don't want to be a RRT forever:banghead:, but do love their knowledge in Respiratory Care . Please help, I want to start the RN program next year around January. I am confuse where I can go to get my RN lisence. I already have 74 credits. Should I go for BSN or ASN or diploma !! I want something quick and easy to get into the program with no "entrance exams". Will RRT background help me to get in to RN program?I work very hard during my 1st & 2nd year in RRT classes. My current GPA is 3.50, I did very well in the RRT program, is that going to be easier for me when I study nursing? Please give me so advices..thank you very much:bowingpur love, sup8na:redbeathe

RRTs vs RNs // Dipolma RN vs ADN RN
I still don't know rather I go for RNor RRT....... but the pay and options in Nursing are seems much better than RRT program... I am already 21 ... and i am unsure about my funture.. ALL I KNOW Is.. i want to work at the hospital in the future!!! I want a well pay job, a job won''t be boring to me, a job that I can actually help other people, a job that I can easy to find to work. Please help!! Nursing school make me upset... it seems really hard to get into the field ! Is there is a shortage of nursing, then why they don't accept student in a large number ? RRTs vs RNs // Dipolma RN vs ADN RN
I am attending at CCP and I can't decide either I go for RN or RRT. I see there a many ppl applying for Nursing because it's the most " well pay" job in today's market. However, It 's so competitive to go for nursing. Recently, I see there another program that similar to Nursing which is called Respiratory therapy care. The program has less requirements to get in to the field. However, I am not sure what I want to do. In fact, up to this moment I still thinking about RN even though they already accepted me to the RT program. :uhoh21: I heard that RNs are more important than RRTs and the RNs can find job easier.....But I only have 3.0 GPA... I don't think i can get accept in Nursing school. By the way, what is the different between a diploma in Nursing and assoscate in Nusing ? which one make more money? I would like to apply for Frankford hospital Nursing school, becuase I guess is more easier to get accepted in Nursing schools. Is that ture ? please help me out from the situation !!! RRT OR RN Diploma RN OR Associate degree RN ? .....HELP Thank YOU
