  1. thank you so much is it ok to i.m. you if i have anymore questions? But thanks for the info.
  2. Hi, I have yet another question. Thanks for everyone who replyed to my last question. Did anybody have to take all or most of the gen. ed. classes and for the ppl who took the classes w/ excelsior did you find it hard at all or was taking it w/ a local cc easier. I know I am able to go on ebay and get some study guides but each test has a different price and I would not want to pay all that money more than one time. And I need most of my gen. ed. classes.
  3. hi echota, I just want you to know I am still praying for you. Have faith in you're self......The heart of the prudent acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge. I know the time of waiting is killing you but please be positive. And know that what don't kill you will make you a GREAT NURSE.
  4. Hi thanks for all that replyed. and I hope it also helped others. Well getting the guides off ebay sounds great. I will not sign w/ college network or no one else. I will either do everything w/ EC or my CC then go w/ EC. So thanks you don't know how much I found out from the help I got from this room.
  5. Hi can anyone tell me if The College Network is a great independent study program that works well w/ EC? I will like to start next month but want to make sure I know everything I will be getting into.

  9. trustar posted a topic in NCLEX Exam, Programs
Hello I just would like for everyone to have my on their thoughts on the 22nd. In five days I will be in the hot seat. I study until I didn't want to look at another nclex book. I pray I will only have to take it one time. I think I am as ready as I will be.
  10. Hi I am happy for you. I know it was hard work but you did it. I take my test in five days and I hope I make it also.
  11. Hi I go take it in 12 days. But my friend took it last month and she went all the way to 205 and passed. To tell you the truth I don't know where I want it to cut off at, I just want to pass. Think of it in a good way 205 means you was still in the game and you made it :) I know it's hard to think like that but it is better when you do. Just smile and know that no matter what this test can't take nothing from you. I hope you feel better!
  12. That is so wonderful:balloons: happy nsg b/c you did it:balloons: I know I will feel the same when I go. Last week I was so stressed out but I found the peace I was Looking for. I go in 2 weeks. I am happy you made it.
  13. Oh, thank you so much. Yes it's the topic based ATI. I don't know anything about Kaplan so if you can help me in that area I will be thankful for it. Yes I do need to calm down but the fear has hold of me and that's what gets me down.
  14. Okay ppl I am working w/ ATI and I have about 3 1/2 weeks before I go to take my test. When I take the ati test for each sec. it's says I need more work in those areas. But when I took the inital comp. I passed in the areas. Im not mad at the fact that I may need more work but I am mad b/c I dont have much time and I already pushed my test date back and this is not giving me the faith I need in my skills:angryfire . I worked very hard to get here and last week I did not want to look @ another nclex book. But I got back on track but now I feel bad once more b/c the scores got worse not better. I am so scraed I will not pass this test. I know I am not the only one but I have to pass. I dont want to push my test back but I dont want to fail myself either.
  15. Hi has anyone taken the review with ncsbn.org and did they find that it helped?
  16. :balloons: That's some wonderful news. I go in 3 weeks. Congradulations and HAPPY NSG!:balloons:
  17. Hi Im happy you can relate to me on this one. But I guess we can all get burned out sooner or later. But Im happy to see we have each other to get us through. It was hard to get into my book but at the end of the day I know it's a good reason way I am doing this. I hope you are able to refocuse w/ your own studies and good luck w/ the test.
  18. Thanks guys and omg I did not know about the nclex forum and I love that one also. I can say I did open a nclex book today :)
  19. Thanks I do have that book.
  20. Thank you I do have that book and one of my friends that went last week came from out that book and she passed. But thank you.
  21. Hi guys well all I want to know is 5 weeks enough time to be ready. First of all I don't want to see another book I am ready for it all be over. I worked so hard to get out of school but now I am lazy w/ the nclex. What can I do to get back on track before my 5 weeks are up? And I have all the NCLEX books, even doing ATI.
  22. Hi guys, I am new to this site.I love the fact that so many ppl come here and get the support that they need. Well I graduated from school in march of 06 and we are just testing. That's another story :) ! Well guys I worked really hard to get out of school and now that I'm out I feel LAZY and dont have that fire and drive I had in school. Well I go take boards next month on AUG.22 and it's hard for me to pick up a book. I don't know why but I have a child and this is not only for me but for her to. I am going back to school for RN in Jan. of 07 if I pass boards but I have to study. I dont work so how can I get my fire back b/c I want it! I have all the nclex books so I have no reason to be acting so lazy. And I do live in N.O. so I will like to get this out the way on my first try before the next big one come . If any one can tell me they once been here and it will be fine I will be soooo happy to know I am not the only one, Thanks.
