uk nurses who have come to the usa
Hi thanks for replying. We fancy florida due to the cheap housing. I love California but dont think that I could dramatically improve my/our quality of life if we moved there due to the expensive housing market. Miami is sounding apealing!:wink2:

uk nurses who have come to the usa
Hi all. Can anyone help me? I have just passed the NCLEX and CGFNS and am now trying to find the best agency to sign up with to help me find a job and start the immigration process. Adevia seem to be the most helpfull so far. Does anyone have anything good or bad they can tell me to help with my decision? I keep reading about OGP but dont have a good feeling about them! Would really appreciate some advise. Cheers!

Cath Lab Nurse vs. Telemetry and CCU Nurse?
Hi, Just wondering if anyone can enlighten me... I am a UK nurse hoping to relocate to the US asap. I have been a qualified RN for 6 years with the past 2.5 years working in a busy cardiac cath lab. Do cath lab nurses get paid more Or less than say a med/surg nurse?Or how does their pay compare to a ccu nurse? Its just that I have the opportunity of working in CCU until I relocate and I dont know what to do. I have a family so when i move to the states, I want to earn as much money as i can. Can anyone advise me please? thanks!

uk nurses who have come to the usa
Hi, Its been very interesting reading this forum esp written by people from the UK. I'm not planning to move to florida for about 2 years (due to husbands job restrictions) but will be wanting to get a morgage when we get there. Its a long way off but it would be good to keep in touch! I have already passed the NCLEX and sat the CGFNS yesterday so I'll be starting the immigration process soon. Any tips on which agencies are good or did you apply directly to a hospital for a job?
