  2. i'm just curious. i work in a hospital where nurses address each other 'girl'. i don't really like being called girl especially in the work environment.. even those who are like 10 yrs younger than me call me girl and just today i have been pulled out to another area and one called me 'boy' when i didnt mind her because she was calling me girl across the hall. i don't know if it's just me or do others feel the same way too? can anyone tell me how they address each other at work?
  3. Maybe he has amnesia and forgot asepsis? Or you're right, he's just plain stupid. I think it's also malpractice.
  4. I work in the surgical ward and this happens quite often. During change of dressings, i assist this particular doc. While he is doing his thing with his bloody gloves and all, his mobile phone rings, gets it from his pocket and answers the call then after the call he will put it back to his pocket and continue with his task. I wonder if i can swab his mobile for culture.
