  1. Matt. posted a topic in General Nursing
Hello all, I know this topic has been discussed before,..but to be honest; I found so many oppinions and references that I am a bit lost. I'll explain; I'm a Flight Nurse on a fixed wing Air Ambulance. We mainly transport ICU patients. I now got my first ever PDA (yes I am from the time when you still carried a little paper notebook), and so looking for appropriate software. Especcially looking for software with pratical information on Mechanical ventilation and heamodynamics. Thanks,..also for the info I already found on the forums Matt.
  2. Dear Shamira, Thank you very much for the efford and time you took to write this reply. This is going to be very helpfull while using it. I have also had some feed-back from other colleques on the web, which really helped,..but had one generall conclusion. Not the best machine on the market these days. Unfortunatly I'm an not the one of the "wize" manager types who decided to buy it. Just the simple guy on the ground, in the air who can sort out the trouble when it arrives ! But once again thanks for your answers !,..really will help. grt Matt.
  3. Hello all, Our company is changing the portable ventilators we have for Air - medical transport. They just bought a "Eagle" protable ventilator from Impact. I was wondering is there anyone here who has experience with this type of ventilator,...tips/trics on how best to use it ? (which wouldn't be in the manual ). We are going to use it for short and long haul flights (up to 24 hrs).... Thanks for all the reply,.. Matt.
  4. Thank you all,..!! Helps me a great deal ! Matt.
  5. Thanks ! Muffie ,. Helps me already quiet a bit !
  6. Yep I know the titel does sound a bit boring, but I do need a answer on the topic. So if you can bear,... For my coming up RN exam in Hong Kong I need to know the : - 3 checks and 5 rights concerning medication administration. I did find the 5 rights (currently 6 I believe), but can't find the 3 checks Does anyone have a answer ? - Also I was wondering if there is anyone who has any tips/trics in how to pass the "Health Assesment" practical exam (if that is being examend in the US) ? Any feed-back would be more then welcome ! As I recieved my RN training more then 10 years ago in Europe I am not used to the English system and the terminoligy used, hence my questions ! Thanks for all the help, Matt. - Back to the books again ! -
