  1. I was a paramedic before I was a nurse. Paramedics are able to perform some different types of invasive stuff that nurses can't do. But, paramedics are not nurses. It a whole different type of mentality. I went back to school to be a nurse because nursing pays alot better. I love trauma and emergency medicine. But, I also love nursing.
  2. :lol_hitti :lol_hitti I am currently enrolled in Stark State's ADN program. The clinical hours does not include class and lab hours. Those unfortunately are separate. The weekend program has class twice a week from 6-9:30pm and then the clinicals are 12 hours saturday and sunday but only every other weekend. Stark State is one of the cheapest colleges around this area and there is a waiting list for almost every other nursing school around. Stark State has a smaller campus and I really like it there.:sofahider
