I passed aanp fnp 2017
Prior to taking my AANP-FNP exam I looked on this website for tips, so I just wanted to take the time to return the favor. I just passed boards on October 24th on my first attempt. I spent a total of 3 weeks studying for the exam. I did take the Leik review course and I will say that SHE IS ALL YOU NEED!!!! Her review course and book she sends you will cover everything you may encounter on the exam. After I finished her course I went back over the book she sends and made sure I understood everything that was in it. I spent maybe 2 hours each day studying. I also did practice questions on the APEA website which were helpful, but after taking the exam I know I could have passed without them. The exam was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I anticipated it being way worse than it was, which was probably a good thing because it pushed me to study harder. My advice for anyone getting ready for the exam- Take the Leik review course, re-read the book she sends and do all the practice questions she has in the book. When you go in to take your exam do not second guess yourself and do not over think the questions! I finished the exam in an hour and ten minutes and even though I flagged only 5 questions I did not go back over any of them because I did not want to start reading into anything and second guessing myself. I will say that I also spent a lot of time in prayer and I give all the glory to God for me doing so well on this exam. You have made it this far, you can pass this exam!

My Tips on Passing the AANP Exam
Here is how I passed AANP the first time- I took the Leik review. I re-read the book she sends for the review and memorized things I did not understand well. I used APEA practice questions (roughly 1000). I only studied for a total of 3 weeks. Leik is all you need!!!! The actual exam was much easier than I thought it would be, but I was also prepared. I passed my first attempt (thank you God). DO NOT SECOND GUESS YOURSELF OR OVER THINK QUESTIONS. You have made it this far, you got this!!!

Creighton DNP
I am actually in my final year of Creighton's DNP FNP program. The program has been great! I opted for the full time track so I could finish in 3 years. For the first year and a half I was able to work a .8. I have now dropped down to a .6 because there are just not enough days in the week, Clinical hours are progressive, meaning the increase as time goes on. We have to find our own clinical placement, which can be tricky. I have been blessed to find some amazing preceptors in MN. I did a lot of research before deciding on Creighton and I am happy with my decision. 40K cheaper than the U of M! Worth the 6 hour drive once a semester. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Creighton DNP 2015
I am starting Creighton Universities BSN-DNP program this month and am wondering if anyone else is starting or has gone through the program already? I have to admit that I am a bit nervous as to what the next 2 and a half years of full time school and work will bring, so if anyone has any helpful tips/advice I would appreciate it =)
