Yes, I did pass my boards.. having my NCLEX stop between 150-160 questions. What held up my paperwork (for about a good 2wks) was my FBI fingerprint rejection. As soon as I had it squared away, 2days later I got my letter saying I passed. [[EGAD, I had an awful picture that day when I took the test :)]] Anyway.. I am relieved I passed. All the uncertainty in my mind, felt at ease. Now I am trying to accomplish 2 things at once. Initially, I wanted to go Pre-med. But having my LVN, I am doing my prereqs for the ADN program.. Scoring high on my assessment test made me feel much better that the only classes I need to finish b4 I can apply to the prog are: ENG 1A, Anatomy & physiology, Microbio + microbio lab. Of course more classes need to be taken in order to get my assoc degree. In addition to those classes, I am taking some pre-med classes. Not to brag, during nursing school, I maintained a 4.0 GPA, with a graduating grade of 95%. Which was pretty awesome in a sense cuz I am such a slacker (not in clinical though). Okay, my point being... I recieved my license around the last week of june. I am a very picky person when it comes to working. I am looking for a job that doesn't require too much labor, if any- some thing not bedside. I like the idea to keep my school first. I am also going to UCR for my case managment. If any one out there know of any jobs or positions that are not bedside, some thing where the stress level isn't at its high, it would be very much appreciated. I know I am asking for a lot. But mind you, I'm only 20 :) and still trying to keep my sanity. thank you for all your support guys.. nurses are the most compassionate, kind, selfless people around. always keeping the patient's safety at mind as well as respect. I think this will be a great experience/background for going to medical school. some thing I can use to my advantage.

I wasn't nervous about taking it.. the only thing running through my mind is FINALLY I will get it over with. Some where in the middle of the test, I started to think when this will all end. I ended up some where around 150-160 questions.. and shortly I realized OMG, I think I'm failing.. I had some questions that were repeating.. and at the end, a lot of priority questions.. THIS ABSOLUTELY SUCKS.. I'm not sure how I should go about this... I'm already getting prepared if I fail.. which review classes are available near my area... I had gotten high scores through out nursing school, but now I have nothing but doubt.. What should I expect? Can some one give me some pointers? Or direct me to a cliff? I apologize for the over-dramaticism.. I am sort of relieved that taking the test is over an done with.. Now, I'm just worried that I might have to take it again.. it can be such a damper on self-esteem as well as the bank acct.
