I'm an ER nurse traveling by myself. This is my second assignment and would love to travel or meet other travelers out there. Hoping to land a gig in Alaska next.....ANYONE interested?

Just got an offer for Banner Thunderbird in Phoenix, but heard that they put in their contract that they can cancel you a shift every other week. Anyone have information on the hospital and this rumor? Not sure where I should go on my next assignment. I'm a new traveller!

I have my second interview tomorrow, so I'll let you guys know what's up. Lots of jobs in WI right now.

Has anyone been to Froedtert Hospital on a travel assignment? Have been offered a contract in the ED and would like some feed back. How about Milwaukee in the Winter also.....thoughts?

I'm from Austin and let me tell you, you will LOVE IT! We are laid back and friendly, plus there is tons of stuff to do here. I am on my first assignment now. Didn't go too far though, Dallas Texas is were I am at. Love that I get to come home on my days off. I'll decide after this assignment if I will venture out of Texas next. Just took the exams and passed. They are doable if you study! EKG test was hard, but multiple choice. Found the other two to be easier. I am working in the ICC ER for 8 weeks. Good luck to you. I think personally, I'm going to enjoy my time there.

Anyone taken the test at Parkland Dallas for the ER. Have signed my contract and now studying to take the test on Wednesday. Any help would be great! Is it multiple choice and how hard is it?

Thanks, I haven't taken a stats class yet, I have read U. Utah has a good stat class to take and it's an online course. Anyone taking this or have taken it in the past?

I am wanting to apply to FSMFN for the December 2009 class and do not have a Statistics class. Do I need to have this before I apply for the ADN-MSN Bridge program or have it before I get into the program. The due date for applications are August 2009.

I also would like to travel with my 13yr old son. He loves New York and states he would like to go to school there when I start traveling. I think at this time though, I will have to leave my son and husband behind to travel. I need to see how this is going to work out for my family and myself first. I'll be starting in Sept/Oct. of this year and will finally be living my dream. I can't wait, but am very nervious also. Good luck on your travels.

Suzanne can you tell me who your recruiter is at On Assignment? I can not get a call back since I sent my application in and my recruiter find out I didn't want to start until Nov. of this year. Before hand he wouldn't stop calling......
