  1. i'm currently a student vocational nurse and plan on doing the lvn to rn program at my community college. My campus does not require chemistry for lvn, just CNA, pharmacology, and a body survey course (anatomy and phisiology took care of that). I would talk to someone and check the prereqs yourself. as for chemistry, i would just work at it, i know i had a hard time with it. Check your campus offers tutoring, cause i know it helped me even though i got a low B. Good luck with your career path.
  2. I understand how you feel...when i did my first post mortem care as a CNA, i did the same thing. I had to make sure the pt was really dead. I also believe in spirits, and the lights started flickering while i was dressing the pt. It certainly does get 'easier' the more you do it. I hate to do it, but the body still needs to be presentable.
  3. Hey...i'm on the waiting list for the LVN program at my local community college. I plan to move on to be an RN too. But i need to take a full load in order to have my parent's insurance company to cover me. I am already enrolled in Nutritions and a chemistry course. I'm currently working as a CNA at a retirement home, but i already took A&PI and II, micro, bio....so are there any other classes i can take related to pre nursing?
