They just charted verbal order given by ---- Office. I couldnt beleive the other person didnt chart either. Maybe she was new. I really dont know. But I wish she would have charted.

No, Luv I had nothing to do with the order at all. That is the worst part it is her word against mine...at least she has the knowledge of what the order was..who she gave order to. What date and time it was to defend herself. I have none of this info. if it came down to me needing to provide it.

Hello, I appreciate anyone's help. I have a co-worker {who I thought was my good friend** who may gave order's over the phone to another facility nurse and a possible lawsuit is underway about the order's being given wrong by our office or taken wrong by the other office. After finding out that the other office did not write down her name she now blames me for giving the order. I am angry that she lied to get the blame off her but also VERY hurt that she thought the lie was more important than our friendship. I now question if she was the one at fault because she is trying so hard for it not to be found out that she gave the order. Any advice??? Thanks

Hello, I would appreciate any advice anyone could give me. I am a Medical Assistant. My problem is that when I work pt's up for the provider the pt's can never seem to remember what medicine's they are taking. I review each medicine in detail EVERY time they come into the office to be seen and alot of the time's the pt's either agree's with eveything I call off and then get in room with the doctor and disagree or either they forget all together. Any idea'a on how to take care of this? I am at a lost. Thanks
