  1. Boring in the sense that I may not have as much hands on experience due to the nature of the preceptorship and that it is more of a shadowing experience versus a pct position. Boring was incorrect terminology on my part. I have had clinical experience. My learning style is hands-on. By no means did I mean boring in the sense that I think you took it. I apologize if it came off that way. I do understand how hard nurses work.
  2. I have been offered two student internships/PCT positions? I accepted both and need to choose today? 1. 11.90 per hour, full time in the summer, min. of every other weekend during school 16 hours, this will be in the ER, I have days 7-3. I like this job because a lot of my friends at school will be in the ER, i have days which means i can still have a life after work however this is more of a tech position rather then nursing and I do not like blood and fluids so perhaps ER may be a little overwhelming??? 2. 11.59 an hour, this position only 6 students were selected from about 5 nursing schools, i would be med-surg and would have a preceptor to shadow, I think i have days but will not know until about june 12th when i start orientation, per diem work available during the school year. I feel like this is the best learning experience but may not be as fun as with friends in the er who i can lean on.This job gives me a little more time off in the summer. I feel grateful because they only took 6 but i think this job may be borning following a nurse for x amount of hours a day?? Would one would you do? please help
