Hi - I am currently doing my pre-requisites at the Austin CC, TX. Planning to apply for the program in for the program in Fall 2010. Long way to go. But, I wanted to get some advice on the order in which I need to take these prereqs. I have completed Physchology 2301 and Mathematics 1332. Just gave my assesment in Biology and will be giving Chemistry assessment in couple of weeks. My question was on the following courses: BIOL-2304/2101-Human Anatomy Lecture and Lab BIOL-24201-Intro to Microbiology BIOL-2305/21021-Human Physiology Lecture and Lab HPRS-2300-Pharmacology for Health ProfessionsI was planning to take both 2304 and 2305. DO u think is it a good idea. I defenitely do not want to compromise on the grades. I do not work and I am fulltime into this. I know these are key subjects. Can we manage both at the same time. Really appreciate your feedback and advice. Thanks. Suma

I am currently doing my prerequisites for Sonography at the ACC, Austin, TX. Initially, I wanted to pursue a career in Nursing, but I heard about the waitlist and at that point of time, I wanted to do Sonography. That was my 2nd option. I also heard that the intake for Sonography is just around 30 per year where as in Nurisng it is around 150. Does any body have an idea about the approximate wait times for Nurisng and Sonography? I would like to know your opinion about which career path is good - Nursing or Sonography. Appreciate your valuable feedback. Thanks. Suma

Hi - I am at the pre-nursing level and in the process of completing my pre-reqs. I live in Oakland County and wish to for my ADN in Oakland Community college. Can people throw me some light on what is the approximate wait time at OCC? I heard there is soem concept of Priority I,II and III. How do these work. Any feedback is appreciated.
