  1. Just got my DL today! Queue date August 1.
  2. If you are overseas, the number to call the NMC is +442073336600
  3. What was the date? Additional document was just uploaded on portal.
  4. Hi. When are u back in queue if I may ask?
  5. I have resubmitted my additional information last Sept 3. Still havent heard from them. Shall I give them a call now?
  6. I got in the queue on August 1st. I got NMC feedback on the 24th of August. I am now complying with those documents they need. Hopefully, I'll get my DL soon after I'll submit everything. God bless us!
  7. Thankfully, I just need to scan them. But the thing I am most concerned now is getting DBS (police clearance check version in the UK) since I have lived there in 2009 to 2013. NMC is asking me that too. So now I am complying with everything. Hopefully I well get everything sorted maximum two weeks.
  8. Good for you! I also received their feedback today. NMC asked me to submit further documents which I need to comply the earliest possible time so I'll get my DL right away. However, the institution I need the documents from will be open next week so hopefully I will be able to submit everything by then. God willing! What is your next step?
  9. My documents were received on July 27th accdg to NMC portal. To be sure I emailed them and asked them my queue date and they replied that I was put on queue on August 1st. Will be expecting a feedback sometime 1st or 2nd week of September.
  10. The NMC site did mention about doing some maintenance on the site. It should be up and running soon.
  11. I guess you will get your feedback by this week or the next. Just keep posted and don't forget to update us here for any progress on ur application. I cannot wait for this month to end because my feedback will be around September. God willing!
  12. That's quick! I still have to wait for about two weeks.
  13. Got ur DL already?
  14. Nope. I sent NMC an email confirming my queue date, they said mine was on queue on August 1st. So they moved the date obviously. I will be expecting a feedback sometime September. What about you?
  15. Hi there! I emailed NMC to confirm if indeed I was put on queue on the 27th of July as indicated by the NMC portal, however, the assessor said that mine was put on queue on the 1st of August. You can also email NMC to confirm the date. I guess my DL will be out sometime 3rd or 4th week of September, God willing! Keep posted Klara
  16. Heard from the NMC yet? I emailed NMC to know for sure when I was put on queue. According to the portal, my documents were received on July 27 but the person who emailed me back said that my application was put on queue on the 1st of August. Tsk tsk.
  17. Hi Red Diamond! Have you had that interview yet? If not, then remember to not over exaggerate your answers. First few questions would be about you - where you came from and that kind of stuff. Next would probably be about the company and position you are applying for and why you chose nursing. You'd also be asked about your plans and aspirations like how do u see yourself years from now and your expectations from the company. Your strengths and weaknesses might also be included. It's going to be a variety of questions related to what you do and a bit about your plans. You don't want to bombard them with too much information so make sure you answer concisely and direct to the point. Stay calm but if you can't, just remember the reason why you want this job. Hope you will ace that interview and keep us posted!
  18. It would be too soon for me to receive a feedback. I am expecting a feedback sometime September. What about you?
  19. Hi There! Submitted mine on 23rd of of July and was received on 27th of July as per my NMC portal, thus putting me in queue that day.
  20. yay! Sent you an email with my details. See u!
  21. That's pretty awesome! It's basically just relaxing and enjoying your time now. I hope I get the NMC feedback by the last week of August so I won't have to wait for a month to issue my CoS. They say CoS issuance is every 5th of the month. I'm not sure if it's still true today. Best of the best for you. BTW, do you have any FB account? Is it okay to add you up? Klara
  22. As to my own analysis and granting everything turns out fine with my application with no requested additional documents, I should be in UK around October or November, God willing!! Have you started your visa filing yet?
  23. Hi Kaitlyn! Have you taken the CBT yet? If not, what resource materials are you using for study? I took the exam last June 6 and thank God I passed it. I just used the Royal Marsden Book. Everything is in there and yes, it's rather simple compared to NCLEX. UK CBT is more focused on patient safety and aseptic technique rather than theories and disease processes. I studied full time for two weeks (my eyes and brain were overloaded!). Same with NCLEX, do not overthink. Take what's in the book as it is. You need not worry, during the exam you will have enough time to think about and review your answers. CBT is for 4 hours with 120 questions. I finished mine in 1 hour and 45 mins. Got the results an hour after. :)
  24. Hi Pau! Yes, please update us with your progress! I think there are a lot of nurses who can help us in this forum. Anyway, my trust is in West Sussex and the hospital is Worthing Hospital. I'm under JS Contractor. What about you? Which trust are you employed and what agency?
  25. Wow! Do you know how to speak Tagalog or Bisaya?
