I just graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and am moving to San Francisco in July. I took a position at CPMC and am so excited for the big move. I fell in love with the spirit of the city in February and knew it is where I belong. I am nervous about beginning my career in a new city and would appreciate any pointers for new nurses in SF. I look for apartments everyday online at craigslist.com, metrorent.com, and SFgate.com. It is an uphill battle because I am moving in 2 months and trying to find a place now. My best friend and I are moving together and we plan on sharing a small apt for the first year while we get settled into the new cost of living and city itself. Does anyone have any advice for the near future. I should probably include that I have two wonderful chihuahuas moving with me. I love them with my whole heart, but they make finding an apt even harder. They are adults and completely trained, but still it is tricky. It is getting near crunch-time and I really need to find a place to live. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am so excited for this new adventure and cannot wait to hear some input. Thank you very much! stephanie
