  1. Hi ma'am pacifica. u a filipina? me too.. i just used saunders for the comprehensive (i read it twice..) and i studied the kaplan NCLEX-RN for the test questions and strategies, and the Saunders CD of course. I used Gapuz yellow book too. Also reviewed with him actually last January 2006. It helped me on where to focus. I believe that you must be really motivated enough to study and you must concentrate well, plus you pray hard, and i'm sure you can do it. Also if you're used with the exams conducted in your nursing school, if your critical thinking skills are really developed, then you won't find the test hard. I started studying real hard last may 1 (a month before my exam).. that was the time i began reading saunders for the second time, so i just scanned it by that time (the highlighted areas). then at night, i answered about 100-200 questions from the CD. i don't have work here, so i have my whole time at home, i cancelled my gimmicks and just go out only on weekends. hehe.. i took the test last June 1, but the day before that i just relaxed. I even watched movie (in a theatre) with my family and relaxed.. had dinner with them outside, prayed my rosary.. slept early and the day after, i felt ready enough. and i'd like to say it again, just pray hard! have faith and God will give you His blessings.. God bless and you still have a lot of time to prepare.
  2. CONGRATULATIONS!!! =) Congratulations to the both of us! i took it last thursday too and it's not that hard as we expected it to be right? and I believe that God was the one who carried me thru it.. God bless to our career and may we do our best in everything we can. =)
  3. hi! thank u.. all of u who wished me luck.. ughh, im having anxiety already.. my exam's on thursday. have to make the best out of it. to mrhrn06, i've registered in pearson vue the moment i passed my applications to the BON, so may be when the BON gave the pearson their go signal that i'm eligible, that's the time they sent me the ATT. i heard some people who got their ATTs in a couple of hours after they registered w/ pearson. i think there's no problem with pearson, may be your BON didn't give its go signal yet(?) contact your BON just to be sure... God Bless u! =) i know it would arrive soon. ciao!
  4. yeah thanks guys! =) i just wanna double check with u coz i didn't receive any snail mail. but yeah, there were instructions in there on how to print it out.. so yeah, ill print it out then and that's what im gonna show on the exam day. Pray for me! hope ill pass.. i have faith in God. been studyin for 2 months already =) God bless us all. =)
  5. hi, i didn't get the hard copy (mail) from the Pearson vue itself, for my ATT.. is it ok that i just printed it out? Just to be sure. Thanks! =)
  6. thanks subacute nanny.. good for u that it only took one week for ur ATT be released.. i'm really worried.. i e-mailed them several times and they said that they have not matched my transcripts and applications yet.. they have not come across my name yet, may be there's a lot of applicants, i don't know. for now though, i keep on studying so that i'll be able to schedule my exam immediately once i have the ATT. =) Goodluck, hope you'll pass. have faith! =)
  7. Hello!!! Who has taken the NCLEX from the New mexico BON? How was it? and about the ATT release, how long did u wait before your ATT has been released after you have submitted your applications/fingerprint requirements? I am currently waiting for my ATT for like a month and 2 weeks, and it's killing me coz i have heard from my friends that it only usually takes 2-3 weeks for the ATT be released. Hope you can share your experiences. Thanks! =) God bless!
  8. Yeah, they say that the ATT will be released 2-3 weeks after you submit the application/fingerprint requirements. But look at me, I am applying for the NM BON, and I submitted my application/fingerprinting first week of March, (March 1), but until now, I haven't received my ATT yet. I am emailing the clerk every now and then, following up my status and she has said that she has not come across my applications yet. baka madaming nag-aapply sa ngayon. kaya better do not delay your applications, that's what i have learned. Hopefully i can take the test by May... Pray for me ATT release.. and keep'n touch! =) Good luck to us!
