  1. I had a friend working there few years back. I know about it and advicing if u are getting in Zayed hospi---consider yourself very lucky :)---great benefit for you and your family other than the very good salary. all the best--
  2. Hi Friends, I will be moving in April to Toronto on PR visa as an immigrant. 1-Is there any province where I can get work without going thru the exams and licensing procedures? 2-I am a diploma registered nurse from India, please advice- *What nursing specialization course shall i take up to add in to my qualification which will be recognised in US as well and from which university in canada? 3-As BC is the only province which accepts diploma nurses till date for RN registration So--I would be seeing BC to settle down. 4-As I m moving as an immigrant --will I have to appear for english exam again for nursing registration??? My previous IELTS scores are expired now. 5-I am disappointed by reading negative experiences/ articles,on different sites about the job conditions in canada. I did not hear such things few years before when i applied for immigration But now many are around-Whats the truth Any one living in Canada ,please comment. I am really confused and worried -what job I will be getting till i m registered as an RN-which will take a lot time as i have not started the procedure as of yet. Thanks in advance.
  3. update abt exams----you will get info in the advert of job vacancy as there is no MOH exam compulsion but another exam is compulsory [of same pattern]. Almost all hospitals want BSN for an RN post. lot of oppurtunities are coming up for nurses as Dubai will be having health care city open soon. Also,There is big shuffel in staff as many good and big hospitals are under taken by american companies. I personally feel -you should surf hospital sites for vacancies thru google search and do not go thru agencies. all the best!
  4. extreme dear -same Q you have put in different threads????i replied in one of the thread for the same-
  5. hello extreme- are you having any job offer from them?? If it is -go for Zayed military hospital -it is govt hospital and you will get very very good salary plus great benefits wehre as al noor is pvt hospital--lesser salary than zayed hosp ----close your eyes and pick up zayed hosp offer.
  6. Wish you a happy birthday Dear Suzanne....You are a blessing to us. May god give you more strength, good health and everything you ask for. With love and prayers :)
  7. Those who are PR or citizen in canada [immigrated from asia],please advice me-- 1) If one has no friends or relative in Canada, landing in canada with family do they need to buy post landing services from any agency?or one can stay in hotel and get all the work done by himself?is there any assisstance provided for free from govt? 2) which hotel or place is economical yet good to stay on rent in toranto?[i assume all the intial formalities can be fulfilled in toranto only if tht city is chosen to live] 3)what Job a nurse can start initially and which province is better to work in the begining?I know without RN lic-one will not get an RN job. I know so many Q,but please reply if possible. Thank you.
  8. Thanks a lot :) for the information Ms.Suzanne.
  9. I do not understand if there is nothing can be done more than filing 1-140 then why agencies are visiting UAE and signing up new candidates.even adverts of recruitments for US' are seen in newspaper. One advert..says it is a direct hospital recruitment.[?]what are they up to??
  10. there is no democracy so you can unerstand.getting $1500 is not the salary all nurses get here.even basic salary for a nurse is less than $1000.There are two or three good hospital which pay tht high to their nurses. In general in dubai living with a family with ease and comfort is not that easy[even you earn $3000/month ,it is not enough]water, electricity, house rents, education are high.many more things-this is other side of coin.In ramjan month you cannt eat or drink in public,it is a legal offence!. also during tht time you cannt dress wahtever u want-means ur clothes should not show any part of ur body.].Summers have 50 degree temperature sometimes plus humidity. if you ignore all tht, dubai accepts everyone.[not all states are liberal in UAE.] you can read more news on local newspaper[http://www.gulfnews.com,www.khaleejtimes.com,readers views, feedback and decide yourself what is good for you.Good luck!
  11. Just blv in it that---everything happens for a reason. Please do not lose hope.Keep faith and hope alive.Try again.if you had put your hard work but still could not make it this time, try to recall your study plans and methods adopted for preparation and then evaluate what were you lacking in? Follow Suzanne4 's study plan.i feel that is the best one.all the best.you will make it next time -go ahead.move forward.do not stop,do not think negative.we will pray for you to give u strength .:)
  12. Best of luck!Iwill pray for your success. All the best.
  13. Please read instructions here--https://allnurses.com/forums/f197/new-revised-first-tip-suzannes-plan-195774.html It is clear in it[red fonts]-that you need to PM her not e-mail to get study plan That too ONLY after completion of first tip.
  14. Ms.Suzanne's plan--When i got it i had doubts[honestly]-how will it work??but reading feedback on forum gave me kick to follow it.I had many other books for preparation[which i used for cgfns exam successfully] except Saunders and i bought it just to follow this plan.I followed her advices too .Her words[advices] used to echo in my mind whenever i became anxious abt result of exam[while preparation]. During exam when my test did not stop at 75[which i expected[LOL]...her words''you are still in the game, you have not lost it'' gave me courage to keep moving. believe it --just follow even for the breakfast and other things to do wht she mentions on the test plan for the exam day and before exam days.I did and i passed at my first attempt. All the best!!!!!!!!!!with love and prayers. :)
  15. Happy holidays!!!!:balloons: :) All the best!Enjoy!!!!!!
  16. for me study-then exam-but when i had less time then i chose quiz-find out urself what is good for u--
  17. I saw a site internetexam for nclex practice Q which charges very very less. Before subscribing to it, I would like to ask [anyone who has used it]-if it is worth of spending money and time? Thanks
  18. ---I really do not know how u cud manage to do all those rounds-great!! but do not u think different review books give different rationals-also there are slight lab-value difference, which made me confuse and i chose to take only one book[latest edition to refer]-what would u say will it be incomplete preparation?
  19. Hi Pinoyarz,My sincere advice is to you to continue your work wherever you are now .You have US RN licence, keep your eye on working in US only. Thanks
  20. dear nurse ,if u r from scotland and you are graduated from there.you have bright chance of getting very good package if your qualification is recognised .you may get starting 10,000dhs[or more] plus benefits.keep trying ,all the best.
  21. There is no governing nursing body like NMC etc .Ministry of health issues MOH lic.
  22. I am not discouraging]. now-tell you positive about Dubai =Dubai is clean ,beautiful but jungle of concrete!!!!! good to visit and spend whatever u have;) Dubai is all about money but if u r lucky u may get good fortune.[how-i do not know it is a saying about dubai] all the best
  23. to work in Dubai one should have minimum 3yrs working exp-now most of the hospital asks for 4yrs BSN for a staff nurse post.English and working knowleddge of arabic is necessary.to work in govt one should have MOH license and to work in private[ DOH license[which u get after passing exam[maximum 3 attempts allowed]-to appear for exam u need to verify all ur nursing cert.-and license almost same way cgfns does]this is for asian graduates.graduates from UK /US etc are exempted from this exam. For the same post a local arab person gets higher salary than an asian employee.Givt jobs pay better like 4000Dhs plus but there are nurses getting just1200 dhs and working two shifts in private 4dhs=1US$.standard of living is very high.taxis are very expansive-Driving lic-is very difficult to get.Think twice before landing in Dubai if u are coming alone. If you have someone to support then it should be fine.thanks
  24. Thank you Ms.Suzanne :) and Wishing all at 'allnurses.com' a very Happy Christmas and a very very Happy New Year :balloons: :Holly1: :smiley_aa :Present1: .:Santa1: -flyinghigh
