suzanne4 no they want me to come on as a staff member not to extend my contract. i am leaving for the summer and the NP pulled me aside and said "i want to keep you" and then asked what would it take for me to come on staff. she knows that i am leaving for the summer but she wants me to come back as staff. That is good advice about my contract i will look at it. i am not going to do anything right away but i wanted to get an idea of what i would be need to ask for and such? thanks cathy

hey everyone, i am a travel nurse. recently a hospital that i am working for is wanting me to stay. i am considering it but i would like advice on how to go about discussing this with the manager of the unit. i have been told to ask for sign on bonus, relocation and or assistance with rent for a period of time due to the high cost of livng in the area. if i ask for relocation assistance what does that entail? any help would be appreciated. thanks nurseratchet
