  1. congrads by the way!! I graduated in May... I took my test right away... and my some my friends waited,,, and worried and studied, and worried,,, and then took their test,,, we answered the same amount of questions... and the bottom line is we all PASSED and are nurses now.... Take the test..period.. you can't study for it,,, you either know the material or you don't... take it while it is still fresh in your mind,, you will be glad you did... then enjoy life and be glad you didn't wait and worry....and STRESS :)
  2. are you going on for your RN or are you going to work as a LPN for awhile? I got my LPN last May and decided to work as one before I went on to get my RN this coming fall. If you want experience as an LPN and learn your MEDS.. work in long term care.. the money is better (at least in Colorado it is) I got a position at a facility as a new grad making $18.. starting and got a $1 raise last week... But since I am going back to school, I decided to take a position at the local hospital on the sub-acute unit..EXPERIENCE is priceless... but the pay is a whole lot less!!!! $14 starting and I will get a $2 raise when I am IV cert. which will put me at $3 less than what I am making now... but I will get the experience I need to go on with my RN.. here in Colorado the pay for new grads is from $14 to $21.. depending if you go prn, need benifits, or can work any shift.... I hope this helps. :)
