  1. I don't specifically know about CTC; however, I graduated from UTHSCSA bridge program. I started classes in the Fall and found the pace very pleasant. The summer would have been very intense considering the time frame. But, that is an individual choice. Congratulations!:biggringi
  2. Good luck to you all. I am a 1997 graduate of UTHSC-SA. It will be the most fun you guys have ever had!
  3. The focus is on what you have been trained to do. As an LVN, I too worked in an ICU type environment. The clencher is what does the facility policy say about LVN's doing IV push meds in their facility? Sounds like someone is jealous of you. I believe that I would find friendlier surroundings to work in. Life is too short to constantly look at the south end of north bound horses.
  4. I work in forensic psychiatry. Our patients are treated much better at our facility than they would be in the prison system. What in general were you curious about?
  5. I think the foot tickling was sheer brilliance. Yes, she could have aspirated-but she had the buckle in her mouth and could have done that even without the tickling. As I assume that she was Borderline, she may have chosen to do many more interesting things with the buckle anyway. Have your doctors ever added Benadryl IM to the Haldol/Ativan combination? I have seen it work wonderfully with both children and adults. An added bonus with this combination is decreased potential for EPS-especially with kids. Torticollis is an ugly side effect of psych meds with kids, and comes on very quickly with the little ones.
