  1. Maybe they are just in the process of verifying the documents that you submitted. I tiik my exam Feb 20 and received my results (I passed thanks GOD!) after 15 days. Just keep on praying while waiting.
  2. Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Hi debbieUK how could yo compare the salary for RN's there & here in the US?
  4. there are some schools like Samuel Merrit in Oakland, CA that offers MSN for those who have a degree in another field maybe that would make it easier for you to be a nurse.
  5. I am a US-RN and is planning to take the exam for nurses in Canada because we plan to migrate to BC. Can anybody give me some info about the exam? Is it harder then NCLEX-RN?
  6. Thanks janfrn I am considering Canada because a lot of my friends keeps on saying that it is a better place to raise children. I am kust wondering if i still need show money as a nurse to be able to migrate and how long the experience needed is for them to qualify me to sit for the Canadian exam. Also, is the exam harder than the NCEX-RN here in the US?
  7. I think the best thing to do is to contact immigration consultants because they could guide you on the right thing to do to make it faster. It is still good to have someone who is experienced about something to do it for you to make sure about it.
  8. I think the nursing shortage would still continue because of the growing population of our elderly, also I know of some nurses who change their profession because of stress
  9. Congrats!!! Exactly how I felt when I passed last March of this year. Good Luck!
  10. I am just curious how much a Home Health Nurse is making per hour?
  11. Hi Janfrn, I read your posts and found them very informative, I am an RN here in CA however, I would like to relcate to Canada, hopefully Manitoba because my friend told me that it is easier to migrate (the process), do you know if I still have to take the exam there? and can you give me an idea of how much is the staring salary for RN's? Thanks
  12. Hi to all, I am just wondering how come ER is considered a specilization already and I could see from here that the salary is too low. I just passed the NClex and is just starting on my new job as RN, no experience and will be working in a 130 bed skilled nursing facility here in northern CA bu my starting is $32.00, and if you will be working in hospitals, it is around $36-39/hr, so ER's woul ddefinitely be more than that.
  13. hi danigirl58, how are you? i am currently here in ca, but would want to move to winnipeg, i am an rn here, maybe you will ask why? because of my family it is faster to petition reltives there than here. bu i am so worried i might nit be abke to find a job as an rn there, and also do you have any idea how much would i earn there? i hope you could give me some informations. thanks.
  14. I am from the Philippines living in San Francisco, CA. Hi to all of you
