  1. Dear Friends, I need some information on TEAS exam and where they are conducted. I am presently in saint louis area and I am planning to apply to some nursing schools that require TEAS exam. They told me that I can write in any state and in any college. I did some search on Internet and did not find any college that offers TEAS exam. I appreciate if anyone can help me in finding a college in any near-by state where I can take TEAS exam. Thanks ANU
  2. Hi to all, I am requesting to all Nursing students, Pre-Nursing students and also students who joined in the past 1-2 years in Nursing Programs. There are wide range of people - Novice, experienced doing nursing education at various levels. Most of the Associate Degree i saw are for people with LPN or people who have high school degree and CNA and also with Nursing Assistant Experience. It takes almost 2.5 - 3 years to complete Associate Degree in Nursing including Pre-requisites. After doing research at various web sites, I want to know some colleges or universities that offers for Associate Degree in Nursing which can be done 12-18 months for People who have already completed Bachelor degree and left with some Pre-requisites. Are there any colleges or Universities which offer Accelerated Associated Degree in Nursing for people who already completed BS and MS and have some hospital experiece. I appreciate if you can let me know whose colleges, it would be of great place. I am willing to relocate to any city to complete the associate degree. I had spend almost 5 years completing MS in Microbiology and I do not want to spend long years to complete Associate degree in Nursing. Any feedback is deeply appreciated. Waiting for a Positive Response. Thanks ANU

  4. Hi, I am Anu and i have been reading this forum for past 1 week and it looks like this is one of most valuable website. I am from india presently living in Atlanta Georgia. I have done Master of Science in Microbiology and Bachelor of Science in Microbiology/Chemistry/Botany and had worked for 2 years in hospital as Nursing Assistant and Medical Lab Research Analyst. I am looking for Second Degree accelerated BSN programs anywhere in USA. I am planning to take Anatomy and Physiology this summer. I did most of my education in India and we have a different course requirements. Can anyone suggest me a school or a college that has reasoable Pre-requisites. I have completed the Following courses in the past 6 years - Organic Chemistry, General Chemistry Medical Microbiology, Genetic Engineering, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Physiology, Virology, Botany and Zoology, Fermentation Technology, English and many other Molecular Biology Courses. http://www.aacn.nche.edu/Education/pdf/APLIST.PDF This website i was looking for accelerated BSN programs. I am willing to take Anatomy and Physiology and Nursing related courses. There are many courses that are irrelevant to Nursing Program like Sociology, Philiso/Religion, Human Growth & Devel, Nutrition, English Literature and i found some universities asking for strange COurses requirements not required for any Nursing Program. After Completing 17 years inclusing MS in Microbiology and 2 years of Hospital Experience, DO I STILL NEED TO DO THIS COURSES FOR ADMISSION. CAN ANYONE SUGGEST ANY AVERAGE UNIVERSITY AND COLLEGES WHERE I CAN apply for Fall Semester. Your advise is deeply appreciated. Thanks Anu Pls eMail me at [email protected]
