  1. I also took the test on Thursday and, even though I was cut off at 75, I was extremely worried that I failed. But... I found that yesterday that I passed! I think it was all the SATA's that really killed my confidence since those questions are ALWAYS hard to get right no matter how easy the topic. From all indications, it seems that getting a pretty good amount of SATA's means you're probably doing pretty well. Good luck to anyone who's waiting on their results!
  2. So its now been officially 48 hours since I took the exam and I haven't found out yet. I took it on Thursday at 2pm. Looks like some people on this thread took it on Thursday and found out today, but I'm figuring that they took it at 8am, and this is why they found out today, instead of Monday. Maybe I'm not going to find out until Monday since I took mine in the afternoon, but I'm trying to not read into the fact that its been 48 hours and I still can't see my results on pearsonvue. Like many others, I had 75 questions, but was very unsure of myself the whole time despite exhaustive preparation, and was shocked when the computer cut me off at 75. I'm obviously pretty worried that I failed. We'll see soon enough I guess.
  3. I took the test on Thrusday at 2pm. I checked on my Board of Nursing website this morning (North Carolina) to see if I had a license number, but nothing came up. Could this be a sign that I failed? I wonder how fast the BON gets your test results and posts your license number.
  4. Does anyone know if pearson posts 'quick results' on saturdays. I took my test at 2:00pm on Thursday, and I've heard it takes two business days for them to post you're results, but I'm definitely hoping it will get posted today. Even though it'll be 48 hours starting today at 2:00pm, I'm thinking it might not get posted until Monday b/c of 2 'business days'. :(Thanks...
  5. Thanks for the replies. Do you think Select All That Apply questions are in the 'high level' question category? There so hard that you'd think they would be, but I'm not sure.
  6. I took it today and it me shut off at 75. I'm really down right now but I'm trying not to be. It's wierd because I was thinking that after the test I would have a very free feeling, but now I feel nothing but dread. I got 3 or maybe 4 calculations, and about 10-15 select all that apply. Select all that applies are so freaking hard regardless of the topic area! I was getting select all that applies on stuff that wasn't too complicated, but I still feel like it's so hard to get all of them right. I think my last 10 questions were prioritization questions. I was also pretty heavy on infection control questions, but lighter than I expected on pharmo questions. I wasn't getting random crazy pharmo questions like many people say they do when it cuts off at 75. What does this all mean? I studied my ass off for this but, like many on this thread, felt like I was doing a lot of guessing. I felt pretty sure about some of my answers, but obviously not that sure. Somebody make me feel better here please! It's gonna be a long weekend either way...

  8. I'm entering my senior year of nursing school and am going to do and honors research thesis. Only thing is, I'm having trouble deciding on a topic! I would like my topic to be in the realm of critical care. Does anyone have any topic advice? What are some interesting issues in critical care that a nursing student could explore effectively over the course of two semesters? Thanks so much in advance...
