Hi guys-thanks for the feedback! Zarina, I am moving to Sacramento....more northern CA. My boyfriend and I took jobs at Mercy General in downtown Sacramento. I have always lived in Minneapolis, so this will be interesting!! Either way with Nclex results, the movers are coming on the 17th! I've calmed down quite a bit since I took the test last friday....I just think it is very confusing how to interpret the CAT. All of the info about "passing standard" is vague to me thus far. Hi there. Nate2, can you help me to understand what the "passing standard" is? I do not have results yet, but I took 265 questions last Friday. You said "levels"....how is it determined whether you pass or fail at 265? This has all been so confusing to me. I took the CA test in Minnesota, as I am about to move to Sacramento. Thanks, C

Hi there, I took the CA boards here in Minnesota. It sounds as though we may be able to check on the website for a license number? Have you heard what it means when you get 265 questions? I have been reading endless information, it ends up with saying that you have to meet a "passing standard"....is every state different, and do you know what the "standard" is for CA? Have you talked to anyone who took all 265 questions and passed vs. Failed? This is hard, I'm restlessly wondering what I would do as a plan B, kinda tough when I have a job and an apartment waiting for our move to Cali in two weeks! Tina

Can anyone out there help me understand what to make of taking 265 questions on the NCLEX? I don't understand what it means that if the computer isn't 95% sure, then there is a "passing standard" What does that mean!

So....I took my test yesterday. I took ALL 265 questions and am completely exhausted. So, I am understanding that this may mean that the computer did not know with 95% certainty that am "competent". So now what? Does this mean that the board looks at the questions I answered correctly to see if they are at a certain level? I walked out of there certain that I had failed.
