Anyone at all?
Pepper I am so happy that you have the support now, and good luck at Harrison! LAURA!!!! Hi, I am so happy that you are still in the program. Can you tell the teachers I miss them much. Will says hi, he has asked about you. You only have a few months left. How are clinicals? I am doing great I have a nice job, and I am working on my RN. PM me and I can help with a job search when you are done. I know where all my classmates work and the pay. The NCLEX was easy, we were so over prepared!! So have no worries going into it, and I can give you my NCLEX study books if you need. 25 grads, wow, we had 23, but started with less. Is the Pennsville guy still in the program? Hope to TTYL, Steph

Do student loans affect licensing?
I had this problem. I had a student loan in Illinois from 2000, the loan was not in default but in rehabilitation. I was unable to get a nursing license in NJ untill I finished the monthly rehab, I had 5 months to go, or pay off the loan. This loan had nothing to do with my nursing school. I chose yes in the box because it was in default since my rehabilitation was not completed. I ended up having to pay my loan in full for NJ to give me a license and that was the end of last month. If you do have a default loan tell the truth or you can lose your license for a long time R/T deception. PM me if you need any more info I dealt with this from August to October. I just got licensed and I paid my loan off at the beginning of Sept.

Need info on NJ salary!
I go to school in Sicklerville. For that price there are tons of great houses, you could even buy a cheaper house in a great neighborhood. The Sicklerville area is starting to grow rapidly. They are building everywhere. I am looking to move there this August after my lease is up. If you need any help finding a place I would be happy to help. Good Luck. BTW, how is it living in Vegas, I love visiting there.

How did you get medical insurance while at school?
I bought an Oxford Health Plan online for 89.00 a month for nursing school. Some students in my class got coverage through their state since the had to leave their job. I think I found mine on E Health Insurance.

Hi Laura, I am just now getting back on to respond. I understand your stress, our class is letting it out by laughing alot. We might seem a bit crazy. Your classmates seem nice. Well, not all. Have you ever met Lee? I don't understand why the material on the tests is so hard. I wish I did. Mullin, and Turner are famous for finishing alot of chapers in a period. Just last Friday, Mullin gave us a Pharm test over 5 chapters. It will be over with before ya know it. Sorry, about having Mullin teach you all lung expansion, but you will need to know it for sumer clinical. I had 4 patients this summer that I had to check, and thank god I knew how. I know what you mean by the 45 pages, but it will get easier with time, I promise. Next year you will fly through 45 pages. Lunch sometimes sounds great. See you @ school. ~Stephanie~

I am sorry about your computer, I am glad your brother was able to fix it. At lunch, and break I normally hang out with one of the guys in my class. I have a red Cavalier, and a black Alero. How did you do on your test. I passed my Mental Health Final with an 84. I was so happy since it is my worse class. I did not attend school Thursday, do to having strep throat. Thank God for Spring Break. With the instructors- Mullen follow the book, and look for small details. Clarke if she says star star or highlight, know it. You can do her tests by the lectures, and also look at the charts for her tests. Mrs. R is straight out of the book, I do the worst on her tests due to not studying the material. She teaches P&PR which is an Easy A, I got one, and just read the chapters. Hardest subject for most was Nutrition. We lost 6-8 people for flunking that final during core. That was the most students we ever lost at one time. Be careful with nutrition and know all your Vitamins, and minerals~and which foods are the highest. Thank You for liking my daughters name, Scarlett is also very pretty and unique.

I would rather be in your shoes, knowing what I know now. If I flunk out now, which is possible, I will be nowhere. Your class looks like a nice class. I have not talked to many people in it yet. Who are you. I was the girl at the podium, when we came in to speak to your class. I am the Pennsville girl. My name is Stephanie, my daughter is Cami actually Cambria. The test on Monday, your Med Term, know how to do the definitions both ways. Be able to write them. In Fundamentals make sure you always read the skill sections at the end of each chapter. A&P will be your easiest class- the questions are right out of the book, and in your workbook know the which one is incorrect for the tests. I have more tips just ask.

Hi Laura & Lee! How was your 1st day? Do you two feel less nervous now? I hope you both had a good day. Laura, did you still need the Tabers? I can get it to you if you want it.

Hi again Laura! The first day of core was the basics, you will go over the student handbook, and some basic paper work. My daughter is 6 1/2 years old. She misses her mom. I feel guilty being gone alot, but it is for the best. We have 43 1/2 days left. Am I excited not yet. We are still working our behinds off. I finish the last of clinicals on Friday, so back to class 5 days a week which means more tests. We have a midterm, and 2 finals next week. School went fast until January now it is dragging, I cant get out of there soon enough. We graduate on the 19th but I will not be done until the 26th. A group of 4 of us won the state biomedical debate for HOSA so we are going to Nationals in Anaheim, the day after graduating. It is all expense paid, we are going to let loose after a stressful year. You will do great, and Laura L.P.N. sounds great. Your family will be proud.

I was told any white scrubs are fine. The shirts do not need to be tucked in. You will get a break every hour to go to your car to grab your books. We have all the lockers right now, but you will recive a locker when we graduate. I carry a regular Jansport bookbag. Alot of my classmates use rolling luggage to carry their books. I have no problems answering questions. You start school on the 5th? I believe this is what I was told.

Oh, the best place to buy scrubs is Best Uniform, on Delsea Drive in Westville. Tell them the school name, and you get a discount.

You will not need the Taber's. We never use it. It is a big waste of money. On the first day of school I will give you mine to use. I wil give it to Mrs. Mullen to hand to you. She is my clinical teacher. The white scrubs, do not buy until I ask Mrs. Clarke. They are picky. It will be better to ask first. Iwore a pair of pants my 1st day, and in front of the entire class they announced my pants were unacceptable. I wanted to crawl under a table. Good Luck!

hi again! the program is difficult, but doable. the biggest thing i can emphasize is to hold on to your days. you will need them after core. core is the easiest part of the program. study, hmmm i don't study on weekends, until sunday night. then i pull an all nighter, for the tests on monday. i don't recommend that, but i do because i am stupid. i just never learn. i study the night before for tests, and do good. i spend about 4 hours a night-only on test days. core is fun, but be prepared to lose a few people. i remember crying- losing my friends. remember to do all extra little assingments that they give. they say it does not count for anything- but behold the first time you decide not to do it, a few extra credit points are offered. good luck, and i am sure you will do well.
