  1. i am working in an place with people from ALL over the world, accents are a wonderful thing and should be embraced by all, however i do find myself asking people to repeat things more than once, my be its me that has the problem....not them!!!
  2. thanks so much Angela, i am so thankful. I had no idea I was going to be in this position when I arrived, I was employed as the manager of the OPD area but some how ended up in informatics!!!! the reason....i can turn a computer on and speak english!!!!:angryfire cheers Har :)
  3. the hospital I am working in, out here in the middle east is trying to go paperless, they are creating the system "in-house" I am in the process of gather required information to appear in each screen! for example on a "pre-op" check list, even this one task is leading me to bang my head against a brick wall as each doctor like their previous hospitals pre-op check list...it really is a headache, there are VERY limited places or people to go to for help so I am hoping that some one here will be able to point me in the right direction with standarized information for screens which is JCIA approved. With the expection of myself and three other nurses no one has any idea what it is like to work in a hospital outside of the third world!!! arrh I am going bald pulling my hair out, and i have only been here 3 months....GOD I MISS HOME:( . But on a good note the weather is great as is the scuba diving :chuckle I AM REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO HEARING FROM SOME ONE---ANYONE!!!
