  1. EMT wanting to go back to work after hip replacement

    Hello everyone. I have been searching the internet endlessly looking for a forum that might be of some help to me. I ran across this one and noticed a nurse that had a hip replacement and had gone back to work but have been unsuccessful in locating her again. I am an EMT that runs Ambulance in my home town. This of course involves lifting gurneys daily. I am interested in chatting to someone who may be in a similiar situation. Curious on how surgery has effected their job. The City has offered me my job back but am concerned weather or not I can handle lifting patients etc. Anyone who can give me some input would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely Jenny
