They said "reapply" and that actually meant they were rejecting the candidate before they sent out final decisions? 😮

I reached out to them since it is now August and the last message I got was decisions by mid-July. The new message said a couple more weeks then the ending welcomed reapplying for January 2028. So I'm wondering if that's a hint that they're rejecting me

Did anyone else get an e-mail saying it is going to be a couple more weeks before decisions, then in the end there was a part about how they welcome you to reapply for January 2028? I'm wondering if I should take that as a sign that they are going to send out a rejection.
