  1. Low HESI score

    The HESI A2 exam includes the following content areas: Reading Comprehension, Grammar, Vocabulary and Knowledge, Anatomy and Physiology, and Math. HESI preparation and study materials are available in the BC library, for purchase in the college bookstore, and from other sources. The Brazosport College LVN Program does not utilize a definitive cutoff score for HESI exams, rather all applicants are ranked against one another. Students with higher overall HESI scores will be selected for admission into the LVN Program. This is what my schools policy's are And only can test once per application cycle.

    So I took my HESI and scored a 73.6%. My GPA is 3.25 my school doesn't have an exact cut off of what you have to make to get accepted. It's ranked on your pre req grades and the HESI I made As in AP 1&2 lab and a B in AP 1&2 lecture. What sucks is I can't re take the test till next year when the application opens again.
