  1. Thank you for your reply, that helps a lot. I haven't encountered a software rejection program before. Most applications did ask about a AZ license. I hope to have my license soon. The lower income tax and cost of living will definitely help, it's really expensive in OR now with high income tax. AZ will be a nice change.
  2. I Am a new nurse with a BSN who has been working in an Oregon hospital for the last 8 months. I was in surgery first for 6 months, then switched to a general medicine floor for more hands on nursing experience. I was a CNA for 8 years and worked on every floor of the hospital, plus 7 years as a monitor tech as well. I am in the process of getting my AZ license, and always show proof of that progress on my resume. My end goal was to move to Arizona and work as a nurse to be closer to family. I have applied to Mayo Clinic, Dignity Health, and Honor Health and so far all my applications were rejected with no explanation or feedback. I am totally confused as to why this is happening, especially since I have experience and certification such as my CFPN for the OR? I'm also a bit worried about the pay in AZ as well, it is my understanding that the pay can be quite low compared to other states, what do new grads typically start out at in AZ?
