  1. NO oncall coverage

    I am currently you an NNP. We have to do 3 12 hour shifts a week and we also have to do oncall coverage where we sign up to cover shifts if someone calls out. The number we have to cover fluctuates depending on how many NNPs we have on staff. Because we already don't staff well for our busy NICU we have recently lost a lot of NNPs therefore our number of on all shifts we have to cover has increased. We do not have a cap on the number oncall shifts they can require us to sign up for. I have brought this up which has now earned me a meeting with management. So I am trying to collect data for how oncall works for NPs at other institutes. Thanks
