hello mom! how did your interview go? i hope it went great. good to hear that you got some snow last week end. we had some snow last week end too(but not much) and saturday was just really really cold. i bet your house will look brand new once the renovation is done. i will surely take that online NCLEX review you were telling me about. maybe it will be better to take it like 3 weeks before i will take the exam but prior to that, i will read some of my NCLEX books. CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU MOM!!!!:balloons::balloons::Melody::Melody::balloons::balloons: i am so happy to know that you passed the NCLEX!!! Praise God!!! so , where's the party at? I started doing a part time job since last monday. I work at least 3 hours every morning during the week days now and hopefully, i can concentrate and start to get focus and study the NCLEX again by next week. i will give myself 2- 3 months before retaking the NCLEX. Last tuesday,my friend and I went to Indian Wells (near palm springs) to watch the tennis qualifying rounds for the Pacific Life Open. I am such a tennis freak just to let you know.. i play at least 3 times a week. The best part was, i get to see the greatest tennis players in person for the first time and one of them was Lindsay Davenport, she signed my t-shirt too.. it was soo cool!!! by the way, i am originally from the Philippines ( the BVNPT executive director is originally from the Philippines too ) anyways, i am having a great week so far and again CONGRATULATIONS for passing the NCLEX and God Bless on your job interview at the hospital. thank you topcat!!! i've been through already in soo many mountains in my whole life.. i came here in the united states when i was 20..going on 21.. trying to survive without my biological family here in the states is pretty much a daily mountain i have to climb on. (good thing i have an online mom now that i can talk to ) but yeah.., you were right, i really have get going and have this nclex mountain moved! thanks for the encouragements!!!! god bless

Thanks a lot MOM!!! i knew that I had only 40% chances of me passing that NCLEX..not to mention that i graduated 15 months ago.. so its been more than a year now and also I have a very poor study habits , which i know , i have to improve so i will make it the second time.. or the third..and the fourth.. hahaha.. I have all the review books but like i said before, i only read around 1,000 questions and studied the Cardio system only. Then, read 100 respiratory questions the night before examination . I had only 3 hours of sleep before taking the exam. THought it was going to work.. but not really. Believe me, I really wanna pass . but on the other hand, i knew i did very poorly. Don't worry about it, i am going to be just fine, by FAILING, it gives me MORE determination to Pass the NCLEX. by the way, I have 4 chances a year to pass it!!! i can take the NCLEX once in every 3 months!!! hehehhe... MY prayers are with you MOM! I hope you had fun in LA. Best regards!!

just got my result today and it's NEGATIVE. :o:o I FAILED!!! well, that means i have to STUDY more...

HI MOM!! IV THerapy class sounds like fun! I took that class a week after I graduated 15 months ago. you get to practice with your classmates on starting an IV which is really the fun part. (OUCH!!! needlesticks) hehehe.. I am keeping myself busy while waiting but at the moment , i am not working. The agency i used to work for called me and wants me to work with a patient for 12 hours 2 days a week with an LVN rate but it was kinda far.. like more than 50 miles away from where i live , so i turned down the offer. I might do a part time job "homecare" this coming monday. What about you mom, are you working right now? -SON-

Hello Mom!!! HOw's it going?? Its been two weeks now of waiting since I took the NCLEX. btw, What a weird dream you've had!!!:rotfl: talking about dream.. i had a gross dream last night!! A black spider bigger than a human size was trying to eat a man. the man was just screaming but he can't move cause he was all wrapped up with the spider web. .. i don't want to describe it anymore.. it was soo gross!!!! Wish Joseph from the BIble was here to Interpret our dreams!!! "FIREWALL" sounds like an "NCLEX WORRY ERASER" kinda movie!! I should go see it!!! hehehee... I just said a prayer for both of us... whatever the result is, I will still Praise God for it! God answers prayers in 3 different ways. He says YES, NO and WAIT!!! Have a great day MOM!!!

Don't worry about it MOM...:) my week end was great. how was yours? ... still waiting here for the result! I have two friends who took the NCLEX RN and both of them failed. :imbar:crying2: ..now i am soo worried about my result, but at the same time, i feel comforted cause I am not going to be alone if I failed! :)

hmm..2 daughters and a son?.. hhehe.. i am a male nurse to be.. i love that verse in the Bible. I hope you and your family will have a safe week end.

dear Oldernursingstudent! Can you be my MOM??? heheh.. i am soo touched.. really!!! thanks for the prayers!!! i will be praying for you too. I told my friends that , if i pass,, then God really wants me to work as a nurse now.. but if i didnt,, that means.. i still have to do more studying... its either way.. God knows about my tomorrow.. even when before i was born. I think the oldest in my class was around mid 50's and I really admired her.. she was just the BOMB!!! hahaha .. well, hope we both pass.
