  1. Hi Tiffany, you are not alone. I just found out that I have dyslexia as well as ADHD and this is my second year in nursing school. I didn't start showing the signs until I got into my health and wellness class which I just failed due to me not getting my accommodations and time it is hard, but there are resources for us to use for our dyslexia right now with my accommodations that I have right now I get extra time with my test and I test in a private room from outside of my peers and I get extra time on homework if needed after finding out that I had dyslexia it really put me down but knowing that it's someone out there just like me makes me feel better about my dyslexia, knowing that I'm not alone yes nursing school is hard and it may take us time for us to get through it, but I believe you can do it. I did not find out I had dyslexia until I was 31 years old and now that I have a reader that reads my test to me. I noticed that I still need extra time because of my testing disabilities. It is affecting my scores, but don't give up if I'm going through it and doing it you can too.
