  1. I got an interview offer and originally accepted, but will be rescinding because I just received an acceptance to one of my top CRNA programs! Good luck to everyone interviewing for TCU and hopefully this will open up a spot for someone else :)
  2. I got accepted to one of my top choice CRNA programs so I am giving up my interview spot for Wake Forest, but here are my stats: Cumulative GPA: 3.9 Science GPA: 3.8 3.5 years SICU experience GRE: 327 CCRN: 108 Over the past 12 months I applied to 11 schools, got 7 interview offers (only accepted 5), waitlisted at 1 school, and finally received an acceptance last week! No charge, precepting, or committee experience - but I was active in the AACN and AANA and attended the mid-year assembly in Washington DC. I think this networking opportunity and showcasing interest in advocacy for the profession was a differentiator that helped me stand out in my application. The application process is more competitive/grueling/discouraging than I could have ever imagined going into it, but don't give up! The best advice I can give current applicants based on my experience is to be yourself and be honest in the interviews. I approached the first 4 interviews like they were a test and tried to give the "right" answer based on what I thought they were looking for. Going into my 5th interview (where I got accepted) I decided to not overthink it and just be myself, which is what ultimately worked for me.
