  1. Hello everyone, I'm looking for some advice. I got into Pace University's ABSN program and have accepted. I am mostly done with the clinical compliance as well. However, my mom is a nurse and suggested that I defer admission and try to get into NYU or Columbia's programs. Her logic is that since I would be taking out significant loans for all of them, I might as well try to get into the best one. I can see where she's coming from, and I'm tempted to go for it, but I also feel like I've put so much work into getting into Pace that I should stay on track. On the flip side, I wonder if I would be able to get a job at a better hospital after graduation if I went to a more well-known school. I'm not saying Pace is bad at all. For any students who went to Pace, how was finding a job afterwards? Did you feel like the program was good overall? I'm a little worried about how rushed it is. Any advice/insight? Thank you so much.
